Team Jack Links/Navionics with Paul Michele at the helm and anglers Jeff Michel and Cristina Webber win the KDW division and take a 4th overall finish in  the 2012 Grand Slam Castaways KDW event that was held this weekend in Jupiter Florida. They won with a nice 46.8 pouund fish caught on the way back long line with a large Goggle Eye in 85ft of water. The team also captured a second place for  Christina Webber in the women’s division with a 35.2 pound fish caught also on a Goggle Eye in 85 ft of water off of West Palm Beach. “Christina fought and expertly landed her fish” Paul told PBFR of their 3rd fish of the day.

The team ended up with 6 Kingfish, 5 Bonita, 1 Blacktin Tuna that was eaten by a shark, 1 Sailfish and 1 Dolphin. The fishing conditions where rough wit seas ranging from 3-5 in the morning to 6-9 by noon.

Benefitting multiple local charities, the Grand Slam tournament series host 5 tournaments through out the year. Paul & his team also won the SKA event this year in Naples Florida with a 46.58 pound fish.
