Dangerous is the best way to describe the busiest inlets in Palm Beach County. The current runs fast and there is an always shifting sandbar right outside the inlet mouth. Local knowledge is required before attempting passage. Slack tide is the safest time to go thru and always look out for the many commercial and recreational boaters that use it daily. There are jetty's on both the north and south side of the inlet with angler access but fishing here is tough due to the strong current. Best bet is to fish the north jetty on the beach side. Parking is available on the east side of A1A in Ocean Inlet Park. No nighttime fishing. The park is closes at dusk.
